Vuelta a Espana: Rodriguez beats Chris Froome in stage six

Chris Froome was edged into second place in the sixth stage of the Vuelta a Espana as Spain's Joaquim Rodriguez won to extend his overall lead over the Briton to 10 seconds.

The Katusha rider overtook Froome in the final 400m of the 175.4km stage from Tarazona to Jaca.
Alejandro Valverde was third, ahead of fellow Spaniard Alberto Contador.
However, Froome's Team Sky now lead the general classification, one minute and nine seconds ahead of Rabobank.
Germany's John Degenkolb holds the sprinter's green jersey ahead of Rodriguez, Valderde and Froome after two stage wins in five days.
Froome is 25 seconds ahead of third-placed Contador in the overall standings.
Meanwhile, Team Sky's Colombian rider Rigoberto Uran moved up from sixth to fourth in the general classification.
The 21-stage Vuelta a Espana concludes on Sunday 9 September in Madrid.
